The Grapevine Group are a number of local artists and volunteers within Mackay and district, who want to raise awareness of the resources that are available within our Mackay & District community for suicide intervention.
The Philosophy
The grapevine is a form of communication. Often the community will hear of a tragedy along the grapevine but not the resources that are available.
Grapevine's intention is to promote the resources that are available by drawing attention to the issue in a very positive light.

With leaves seeking the warm suns rays,
roots delving for water and nutrients,
branches carrying nourishment to the whole and tendrils,
ensuring its support,
the vine produces its young - the grape.
The Grapevine represents growth, fruitfulness,
and a connection to community.
Like us; its young cannot flourish or survive alone...
