WHAT IS THE SPORTS COACH CHALLENGE?
Grapevine Group is challenging the Mackay & district’s local Sports Clubs to match us dollar for
dollar to put their coaches through the LivingWorks ASIST Suicide Intervention Program.
This only costs $200 per paticipant and Grapevine will donate $100 to each participant leaving
the club to raise ONLY $100.
Previously Grapevine Group has put 33 local high school teachers and police through the
program. We have just sent our own Grapevine volunteer Rachel Joyce away to become
a LivingWorks trainer at a cost $5000.

WHAT’S SO FANTASTIC ABOUT
THE LIVINGWORKS ASIST PROGRAM ?
Thsi workshop gives people skills to identify someone at risk. Anyone over 18 can participate.
Statistically participants will use the new skills they gain within just three weeks of the course.
The course is 2 full days and costs only $200 per participant.
