    World Suicide Prevention Day Walk

    10:00 - 13:00Bluewater Quay River Street, Mackay

    Please join together to support those bereaved from Suicide and most importantly to support prevention by Suicide.
    Service providers available - Mates for Construction; Grapevine: Run for MI Life; Support After Suicide Mackay & Whitsundays
    Special guests Mackay Mayor Greg Williams & Julie-anne Gilbert
    Stall holders set up 9am
    10am gather for walk, meet new friends, find support.
    some words from the Mayor, followed by Sausage sizzle available from Brothers Rugby Union.

    Run for MI LiFE Blokes Brekky

    The Blokes Brekky is for men and women who want to know how to support their mates. Hear and learn from other men's first-hand experiences of feeling suicidal and how they've managed to survive and thrive. Speakers include local blokes as well as Jake Edwards, a former Carlton player and founder of Outside the Locker Room. The weath of knowledge to be gained from these men cannot be measured.
