So why is suicide seldom reported?
Going about media reporting the wrong way can increase the risk of suicide to readers, listeners or viewers.
It is necessary for media to follow strict guidelines. This doesn’t mean media can’t do reports on suicide. It just means they have to tailor their articles for the public’s best interest.
